Description

A hearty, cheesy breakfast casserole with fluffy biscuits, savory sausage, crispy hashbrowns, and creamy gravy — the ultimate comfort food for mornings!

Ingredients

Scale

    • 1 (16 oz) can Pillsbury Grands! Buttermilk Biscuits

    • 1 lb Jimmy Dean Premium Pork Sausage

    • 3 cups frozen Ore-Ida Shredded Hash Browns

    • 1 packet (2.75 oz) McCormick Sausage Flavor Gravy Mix

    • 2 cups milk

    • 1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese

    • ½ teaspoon salt

    • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

    • ½ teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

Step 1 – Preheat the Oven:

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish and set it aside.

Step 2 – Cook the Sausage:

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the Jimmy Dean pork sausage, breaking it apart as it browns. Cook until fully done, then drain excess grease.

Step 3 – Assemble the Casserole:

Spread the frozen Ore-Ida hashbrowns evenly in the bottom of the greased baking dish. Top with the cooked sausage.

Step 4 – Prepare the Gravy Mixture:

In a bowl, whisk together the McCormick sausage gravy mix and milk until smooth. Pour the mixture evenly over the sausage and hashbrowns.

Step 5 – Add Cheese and Biscuits:

Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the casserole. Cut the Pillsbury biscuits into quarters and distribute them evenly over the top.

Step 6 – Bake:

Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown and cooked through.

Step 7 – Serve:

Let the casserole cool for 5 minutes before serving. Enjoy warm!
