An easy, gooey dessert layered with cinnamon rolls, apple pie filling, spice cake mix, and caramel sauce—perfect for fall gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • Cooking spray

  • 2 cans (17.5 oz each) deluxe cinnamon rolls (icing reserved)

  • 2 cans (21 oz each) apple pie filling

  • ½ cup caramel sauce (plus extra for drizzling)

  • 1 box (15.25 oz) spice cake mix

  • ¾ cup salted butter, sliced

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly spray a 9×13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.

  • Spread the apple pie filling evenly across the bottom of the dish.

  • Cut cinnamon rolls into quarters and scatter over the apple layer.

  • Drizzle ½ cup caramel sauce over the cinnamon rolls.

  • Sprinkle dry spice cake mix evenly on top.

  • Layer butter slices across the entire surface of the cake mix.

  • Bake for 45 minutes, until golden brown and bubbling.

  • Let cool for 10 minutes. Warm reserved icing and drizzle over the cake, followed by extra caramel sauce if desired.

  • Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream if preferred.

Notes

  • Add chopped pecans for crunch.

  • Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 4 days.

  • Reheat before serving for best flavor and texture.
