Ingredients

  • 1 small onion, diced

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 (10.5 oz) can cream of mushroom soup

  • ½ cup sour cream

  • ½ cup milk

  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

  • 1 tsp salt

  • ½ tsp black pepper

  • ½ tsp garlic powder

  • ½ tsp paprika

  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

  • 1 (32 oz) bag frozen tater tots

  • 2 tbsp chopped parsley (optional, for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven:
    Preheat to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

  2. Cook Beef:
    Brown ground beef and onion in a skillet over medium heat. Add garlic; cook 1 minute. Drain excess grease.

  3. Mix Sauce:
    In a bowl, combine cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, milk, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.

  4. Assemble Casserole:
    Stir beef mixture into sauce. Spread evenly in baking dish.
    Top with 1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese. Arrange tater tots over the top.

  5. Bake:
    Bake for 35 minutes until tots are golden.
    Sprinkle with remaining cheese; bake 5 more minutes until melted.
