Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 ribeye steaks

  • 1 cup balsamic vinegar

  • 8 oz fresh mozzarella, sliced

  • 2 cups cherry tomatoes, halved

  • ¼ cup fresh basil leaves, chopped

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • Olive oil, for grilling


Instructions

Prepare Balsamic Reduction:
Simmer balsamic vinegar in a saucepan over medium heat for 10 minutes, until thickened.

  • Grill the Steaks:
    Preheat grill to medium-high. Brush steaks with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
    Grill 5–7 minutes per side for medium-rare, or to desired doneness.

  • Add the Cheese:
    In the last minute of grilling, top steaks with mozzarella slices to soften.

  • Top and Serve:
    Let steaks rest for a few minutes.
    Top with cherry tomatoes, fresh basil, and drizzle with balsamic reduction.
