A creamy, cheesy, comforting classic that’s easy to make and always a crowd-pleaser!


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef

  • 1 can (15 oz) green beans, drained

  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup

  • ½ cup milk

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

  • 1 cup French fried onions

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

  • Salt and pepper, to taste


Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

  • In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked, breaking it apart as it cooks. Drain excess fat.

  • In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, green beans, cream of mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.

  • Spread the mixture evenly into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.

  • Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the top.

  • Bake for 25 minutes, until the casserole is hot and bubbly and the cheese is melted.

 

  • Remove from the oven, sprinkle French fried onions on top, and bake for an additional 5–10 minutes until the onions are golden and crisp.
