Description

A gooey, chocolatey, peanut butter-packed dessert explosion with Reese’s cups, melty chocolate chips, and a creamy peanut butter swirl!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 box chocolate cake mix (plus ingredients to prepare)

  • ½ cup melted butter

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened

  • ½ cup peanut butter

  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 4 cups powdered sugar

  • ½ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

  • 1 cup mini Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, halved

Instructions

  • Preheat Oven:
Set oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch glass baking dish.

  • Prepare Cake Batter:
Mix the chocolate cake batter according to box instructions. Pour into baking dish.

  • Make Peanut Butter Mixture:
Beat cream cheese and melted butter until smooth. Add peanut butter and vanilla; beat until creamy. Gradually mix in powdered sugar until fluffy.

  • Assemble the Cake:
Spoon the peanut butter mixture over the cake batter (do not mix). Sprinkle chocolate chips and halved Reese’s cups over the top.

  • Bake:
Bake for 45–55 minutes, until the center is just set. The cake will be gooey — that’s perfect!

  • Cool and Serve:
Let cool for at least 15 minutes. Serve warm for maximum gooeyness.

Notes

Top with more Reese’s cups or a drizzle of warm peanut butter for extra indulgence!
