Ingredients

  • 1 box vanilla cake mix (or yellow cake mix)

  • 1 can (21 oz) strawberry pie filling

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened

  • ½ cup butter, melted

  • ½ cup sugar

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • ¼ teaspoon salt

  • 1 cup whipped topping (optional, for serving)


Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

  • Spread strawberry pie filling evenly across the bottom.

  • Mix cream cheese, sugar, vanilla, and salt until smooth. Spread over strawberries.

  • Sprinkle dry cake mix evenly over the top — do not stir.

  • Drizzle melted butter over the entire surface.

  • Bake for 45–50 minutes, until golden brown and bubbly.

 

  • Cool slightly and serve warm with whipped topping or ice cream.
