Description

The perfect balance of sweet, spicy, and tangy with bold flavor and satisfying crunch — quick, easy, and ready in just 24 hours!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound pickling cucumbers, sliced

  • 1 cup white vinegar

  • ½ cup sugar

  • ¼ cup water

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 1 teaspoon whole black peppercorns

  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)

  • ½ teaspoon mustard seeds

  • ¼ teaspoon celery seeds

Optional: Fresh garlic, dill, turmeric for added flavor


Instructions

  • Mix the Brine:
    In a large bowl, combine cucumbers, vinegar, sugar, water, salt, peppercorns, red pepper flakes, mustard seeds, and celery seeds. Stir until sugar and salt dissolve.

  • Refrigerate:
    Cover and chill for at least 24 hours to allow the flavors to develop.

 

  • Enjoy:
    Transfer pickles to jars or containers. Store in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.

Notes

Add to burgers, sandwiches, salads, or enjoy straight from the jar for a sweet, spicy kick!
